About Jay

Jay was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, but he also lived in Connecticut, New Jersey, Tennessee, 

Virginia, and the United Kingdom, before returning to his native Georgia in 2021. He was a 

Realtor with Coldwell Banker in Nashville, TN, from 2001-2003, and Owner-Broker of 

McClellan Properties in Nashville, from 2004-2009. After leaving Real Estate to pursue a career 

teaching History and coaching Football & Wrestling, Jay transitioned back into Real Estate in 

2022 by earning his Georgia Real Estate License and joining Virtual Properties Realty in Duluth, 

GA. He and his family relocated to Lake Sinclair, and he joined Fickling & Company Lake 

Country in 2025 to connect with and serve the Milledgeville community. 


Service-oriented by nature, Jay’s aim as a Realtor is to help his clients achieve the American 

Dream of Home Ownership and, in doing so, realize the pride, stability, and wealth-building 

benefits of owning real estate. Towards that end, he uses his worldly experience and knowledge 

of his native Georgia to guide clients through the buying and selling process. Moreover, Jay 

builds spec homes and rehabs existing homes to provide affordable housing for young couples, 

families, and retirees. Whether buying, selling, or investing, you can rely on Jay to guide you

Jay and his wife Meredith are the proud parents of 4 children: Thomas, Jackie, Andrew, and 

Meaghan. In life and in business, he is guided by his Faith and devoted to his family, friends, 

and clients.
